The Forest Stewardship Council's (FSC) sole purpose is to ensure that the products they certify are made in accordance with environmentally friendly forest management practices. This FSC certification is significant because it helps consumers understand the commitment of Telescope Casual Furniture to a healthy, sustainable environment.

About This Director's Chair
This Bar Height Director's Chair has a seat height of 30", which is suitable for 42" bar seating or for show seating to be eye level with a person standing. The quality built in to this chair is outstanding. Starting with a frame made of solid kiln dried hardwoods. Precision-milled parts are shaped and hand sanded, then pressed together and nailed for maximum rigidity. Rigidity is the single most important factor in longevity of a director's chair. The taperered, shaped legs are nailed securely into a beveled seat block wigh mortise and tenon style joinery. Extra strong leg braces are screwed securely where the legs meet the seat. The seating and back material are heavy duty cotton canvas, while the back has a no sag feature.
